Though launched more than two years ago, these shoes created to pay tribute to the visually impaired community still find heavy rotation in my wardrobe. 

I am attracted to metallics, but it's the braille adidas logo on the tongue and side that bring a smile to my face each time I open my shoe closet.

Thank You Mr. George Lucas. Thank You Mr. Adi Dassler. You mixed your peanut butter with his chocolate, and the results are beautiful. This is the 10th anniversary of their collaboration and they spared no expense on design.

Lanvin + Van Assche = WOW

These are the new kicks from the House of Lanvin, by Lord Kriss.

Don't worry, you can't buy them. They were sold out before they went into production, as only 100 pairs of these were made. Of those, 75 went to Lanvin's "special clients" and the rest went throughout the roof via auction.

I'll try to post future auctions on this blog, though the only verifiable price anyone has of what these went for was at a gala in the Hamptons. Apparently $1700 was the winning bid.
